Books that I've made!

All photographs were taken and edited by myself. The first one is a collective book of photographs I've taken. The second one is a cookbook! Both were done by using Indesign and uploaded on Blurb.com to make real books!

If you want to see it bigger please click the full screen button on the top right.

Photo Filter

I forgot what filter I used exactly but this is a picture I took while visiting the Getty! It reminds me of those lomo cameras everybody is using nowadays. I want one too!

Panorama

I wish it would be bigger but the file is just too big. I love doing panoramas! Photoshop and Bridge make it easier to with the photomerge tool. I hope you can see the details still!

Dessert Photographs

Images I took and edited with photoshop! If you haven't had creme brulee, you should! :)

Textures and Text

Just an experiment with text and textures using Photoshop! The original pictures were of concrete and some plant material.

More Indesign pages

I don't know why I made these pages but it seems at the time I liked using text as an artistic touch more so than a means of writing. I don't know why some seem a bit washed out.

Indesign Posters

Posters I made using Indesign. The first one is the only one with images that aren't my own. But X-rays are always fun! My favorite is the blue. Again, It'll look better bigger so don't forget to click on it. :)

Vector Portrait

Vector Portrait!

The image I used as reference.

I wanted to make myself look like a Zombie. Unfortunately people took it as I was trying to be a vampire in light of the whole Twilight Saga. Does it look like me?

Click image to enlarge, it'll look better that way!

California Indian Day Poster

Here is a poster I made for California Indian Day. It was my first time using Indesign but this one has more text than any of my other projects. It looks a little small, so if you want to see it bigger just click it!

Logo Ideas

I prefer either the bottom left or the bottom middle one. If you're wondering what the pear means, it's referred to my last name! Le in Vietnamese is pronounced similarly to how pear is pronounced in Vietnamese. So sometimes I have usernames as Juliepear.

Don't forget to click it if you want to see it bigger~

Typography

Text isn't necessarily for just writing. You can make pictures out of them too!
Word Art

Some more typography

This isn't text I know, it's patterns! But I put it in this blog because of the text wrap. I hope you don't mind!

Genre Gig Poster

For this assignment we were suppose to make a poster for an event of our choice (mine was a concert that never existed). Since the band playing had a fresh pop, futuristic sound to it I decided to incorporate that into my poster. The pig represents their band logo if you're wondering. Click to enlarge if you'd like!

Mesh tools and such

Snow Peas

Some Fruit

Flower Bouquet

Mesh Bottles

Again these are some assignments from my graphic design class! All done using illustrator. Here Most of them are made with the gradient mesh tool. My favorite is the flower bouquet!

Working with the pen tool

Double Meanings

Technical Illustration

Nine Lives Cat

Fish and Frog

Here are some assignments I had to do for my graphic design class. Here I gained the knowledge of what Adobe Illustrator can do! Feel Free to click on it if you like.

Hello!

First post! I was looking at all my blogs and wished that everything would just be on one to make it easier to look at! So I'll be importing all my previous work from classes and some things I've been recently working on as a portfolio of some sort. That's why most, if not all blog posts will have similar time/date even though they've haven't been made all at once. Anyways, I hope you enjoy!
